our restaurant

In a portuguese house you can never lack a full table, good friends and good conversations. And that is exactly what we propose in our restaurant space. Traditional, unpretentious food, with local and seasonal ingredients, many of them planted right here in our garden or harvested in our orchards. All of this washed down with good olive oil from our olive trees and delicious wine from our vineyards. Comfort food that evokes memories of our grandmothers and how they prepared every dish with care and love, for the whole family. The flavors, colors and aromas of a ‘homemade’ kitchen, because it’s of truly being at home that the whole experience is all about.

Not forgetting the vegetarian/vegan dishes, because they are in fact a tradition of the region and vegetables, legumes, fungi, fruits and cereals planted locally, an obligatory presence and basis of the people’s diet throughout the history of Douro Valley.
